    for the drilling crew, they'll be within a 1,000ft of their target depth in about 5 days. I understand they slow the operation down at that point. So let's say they slow it down by 50%, checking aim and what not, it will take them another 9-10 days to be at depth.

    Each failed attempt to intersect the bore will cost two weeks as they draw off, seal it up and make another attempt. Mathematical probabilities being what they are, they may need 7 attempts to hit the target and shut in the well.

    We've got a ways to go, but when they get there they will successfully shut it in.
