  •  Keep it up. I know how hard it is, trust me... (5+ / 0-)

...but I do have to ask:  But Wait?!?  What about the early Beatles?  What about the Beach Boys?

What about the Top Gun sound track?

....[self dope slap]....forgive me.  I went all old school there for a moment.  God forefend that I look like some sort of Richard Simmons "Dancing To The Oldies" acolyte...

But I do like most music.  The oldies (The Doors, Blue Oyster Cult, Pink Floyd, The Moody Blues etc...) are fantastic.

In fact the only music I just find intolerable is the newfangled country.  I enjoy Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and Hank Williams... but H.W. Jr?  Makes my skin crawl!

But when it comes to putting out the sweat, heavy metal just can't be beat!

I am the neo-con nightmare, I am a liberal with the facts.

of course one's definition of heavy metal can differ. I sweat volumes to marches when I do my power walks. Sousa, Fillmore, German military and everything in between. Takes me back to the old days when I carried heavy metal on my shoulder (a sousaphone, a metal one).
