    In fact, the tougher the system is to crack, the more highly it's prized.

    Linux is not the last word in security, but most Linux distributions take security much more seriously than MS ever has, and it shows.

    The default configuration for most of the major desktop Linux offerings are very sane, and cannot be easily exploited using the toolkit that's typically available to the script-kiddies who are responsible for nearly all the widespread problems that computer users see.
