People got very sick. People DIED. The vaccine WORKED.

People die from the flu EVERY year.

Though 2,498 confirmed deaths linked to the H1N1 virus had been reported to the CDC as of January 30, the agency estimates that between 8,330 and 17,160 people actually have died from H1N1.

    Compare to......

In comparison, the CDC says that in a regular flu season, about 36,000 people in the United States die from seasonal flu, with 90 percent of the deaths usually occurring in people age 65 and older.

Considering the estimated 40% 2009 US vaccination rate compared to the "normal" 33% rate, a case can be made that more vaccinations led to a lower toll. Those same numbers indicate how much the CDC over hyped the danger of H1N1.

Keiji Fukuda, the WHO's top influenza expert, said the U.N. agency's six-phase system for declaring a pandemic had sown confusion about the flu bug which was ultimately not as deadly as the widely-feared avian influenza.

Perhaps you'd be interested in purchasing some Smallpox vaccine or some duct tape and plastic?

I remember how safe I felt when I was taught in elementary school to "duck and cover" in case of a Russian nuclear attack.
