    immediate goal of pro-zionist american politics.  Not all of Camp David, I agree - obviously the peace aggreement with Egypt was (and is) a HUGE strategic benefit to Isreal.

    But the pledges Carter extracted from Begin towards fair and humane treatment of the palestinians - these were all revoked as soon as Reagan came into office - and the love affair of right wing Jews and their friends with the Gipper began.

    All in the name of anticommunism, naturally.

        at that era the rhetoric of the neocons supporting Israel was as an argument of "committed allies" against totalitarianism.  I was going to add an entire section for Jeanne Kirkpatrick.. . .

        All liberal values can be summed into a single issue: The dismantling of the American Middle Class. Publicly Funded U.S. Politics NOW!!!
