    Seriously, on what policy point are any of them telling the truth?  I merely want to point to a couple and say they are exceptions to the rule, but, ah, I don't know where to begin.

    Life is good. Injustice? Not so much.

      Stating the truth re commissioned studies that found no correlation between abortion and physical or mental harm to women who had had abortions.

      Dr. Koop is personally very opposed to abortion, but he was honest in reporting what the studies had concluded.

      Surgeon General Koop was promptly sidelined by the republican administration and faded into obscurity.  All because he would not lie to promote the gooper memes and his own beliefs.

          Reagan (I think it was) or Papa Bush.

          Even though I disagreed with Dr. Koop on so many issues, I respected him for his honesty, and I still do.
