  •  We bought a cabin (5+ / 0-)

on the river. It had no running water and an outdoor toilet.
It did have electricity, but there was no access to TV or computer.

I thought I would love the simplicity of it all, but there are varying simplicities and I didn't like that one. It was boring 90% of the time. There is a reason our ancestors invented toilet stools and paid for running water. Did you know spiders live in outdoor toilets?

I am happy to live in a home with a computer, cable and air conditioning and heat.

I am gradually streamlining my things.  Papers are my biggest problem. I did genealogy and need to get it organized, but I am still working on other papers.

Mother always said if you aren't careful you become a slave to your things.  I have spent too much time organizing the garage and storage building, but it would be foolish to go buy the things again if you use them even once a year.

We didn't say Wealth Care, we said Health Care
