    How did the work go?

    •  "Get out of dry dock"? Ha!! (0+ / 0-)

Good one!!  And I gotta tell ya, first step of any project is to see if it'll float!! Otherwise, you're sunk!!

Yeah, we got out of dry dock, alright.  We had great scientists, a vessel rigged, tested and ready to go, etc.  The downfall of the project was that it was so far-out the only funding we could get was from speculators and market players, and when they got their profits they moved their dice and chips to other "projects".

Not to worry, though.  The idea, I believe, is sound and will eventually be picked up by someone with more solid financial backing.  I've also been reading about the development of "artificial photosynthesis", which is pretty much the same idea except a bit more straight-line.  No playing pirates with that one, though (Arrrrgh!!).
