    Wish I had a recipe to give to you, but unfortunately I haven't one at the moment.  A book I had said summer pudding must have been invented by a cook with a garden full of fresh summer fruit and a loaf of bread. Last Friday my husband and I were guests at a dinner given by a friend of ours.  She had summer pudding for dessert, served with real cream, and it was delicious!

    Of course, this is the USA, not England, so she didn't have red currants either.  She used strawberries and raspberries.

    The Danes have a red currant pudding too. Haven't tasted that one, though.
