I am very much for legalization, but let's keep our claims within the realm of reason.

      ... I think it's a bad idea; I don't.  I wholeheartedly support common sense legalization and regulation.

I just want our side not to float pie-in-the-sky ideas that this would be a panacea to effortlessly cure all our monetary and drugwar woes, and then have people (especially ourselves) be seriously disillusioned when it doesn't happen that easily.

Considering the politically and socially touchy nature of the initiative, the claims for it should be rigorously based in fact and not "we will be greeted as liberators" BS.

and have started signing up members as Budtenders, Trimmers, and soon will be signing the Farmers. When the Unions see a opportunity like this to add members it is more than just a few people chasing unicorns.  ; )

    •  It'll mean (0+ / 0-)

      optomistically 1.2 billion.

Overblowing it and saying "19 billion will be easy" leads to unrealistic expectations, and then five years from now people will be saying

"Wasn't this supposed to fix all our financial woes..."

      and voting to overturn.
