    and yet our universities are corporation-filling machines, funded by those same corporations?

    It's a bit like fretting over one seagull in the Gulf while millions of people lose their livelihoods.

    •  there has been times when editors of a scientific (0+ / 0-)

      journal resigned because of an inclusion of a really flawed paper (which I think is a better analogy to this situation).

      But a certain amount of corporate control of our universities so far (I think) hasn't affected too much of the work done by the Profs; and it's much much better than having no universities at all.

      If I was a blogger at SB (haha), I most likely wouldn't quit because of the obvious costs of doing so.
