    This is exactly the kind of crap that the Republicans pull all the time.

    Help themselves and turn their backs on the rest of us.

    Here's hoping they do act according to the greater good, though.

      Wouldn't it be wonderful if Obama gave tax cuts to buildings with geothermal heating?  Wouldn't it be great if he would fund wind power and geothermal heating of schools and other public buildings?  

      Taxes fund highways, why not clean energy?

        OK, in the short term, Crapo and Simpson get credit for bringing home pork to their districts.

        But in the long term, their district will have a living, breathing advertisement for Democrats -- that is, for government-subsidized clean energy. This is like the drug dealer giving you a free sample -- in the long term, it's good for business.
