    till after Labor Day -- a lot of Californians don't really pay attention to politics until the kids are back in school and things return to what passes for "normal" in this state.

        Maybe, because he or his policies never appear in it -- an ad ragging on Whitman's non-voting record over decades.

        That's right, she didn't vote, for anyone or anything, for decades.

        And....that's it.

        No mention of what Jerry Brown has done for the state, or who he is, or what his policies are.

        A lot of voters don't vote, with the exception of the national contests: is it really effective to only tag Meg with what appears to be that all too common sin of ommission?

        Meanwhile, Meg has been touting herself, endlessly, and there's constant repetition of a new ad slagging Jerry's policies.

        Yes I know Meg has more money, but Jerry Brown is missing in action -- except as the devil in Meg's ads.
