  •  We need the Dems to stand the f**k (4+ / 0-)

up and lead. The people (left and middle) are practically begging for someone to follow and if our 'leaders' don't get that then they probably deserve to lose. They currently look like they are afraid to step out of the shadows.
Though I'm not suggesting that repubs deserve to win or that I personally will refuse to vote democratic. That would be a ridiculous argument to make if I sincerely believe in the Dem platform.

This is a very good link for experiencing teabagging joy...thanks to Sharron Angle. Teabaggerette.

    •  We need to "enthuse" our voters (0+ / 0-)

Time is winding down, and we need actions rather than talk, but certainly comprehensive immigration reform makes so much sense as President Obama has articulated it. When we have 12 million + people right now living in America who should be citizens, you have a broken system! The same with DOMA and DADT. All reputable polls show that people want those with a homosexual fetish to have the same right as heterosexuals. The time to talk is over, let's DO! We need to take direct and decisive action on those types of issues. We also need to tell the American people that we are the party that is going to provide for you. That we believe wealth should be based on need, not accumulation of the same. For example, making unemployment a lifetime benefit would do wonders for this economy and no longer could Republicans hold the unemployed hostage with their votes.

      •  Instead you have a party working (0+ / 0-)

to disenthuse voters, with the help of people like Steve Singiser, who did his part to help set up the terrible situation we have in Ohio. We're struggling and we have a state party with a huge staff tasked with GOTV, but angry activists aren't a recipe for success. I will say though that there is a lOT of energy being directed into the statewide campaigns including state Supreme Court justices. Whether that translates into voter energy we'll see. I try hard not to be discouraged, but every time I see as diary like this, my own spirits take a dive again.
