    as the facts will allow, and it's none too pretty, but I've thought the same thing. My concern is less with voters' decisions than with citizens' decisions whether to vote. When we canvassed and called in '08 we got out a lot of people who don't normally vote. They made the difference because they were inspired. Think they feel fired up now?

    Better than McCain/Palin is not a ringing endorsement.

      Sooner or later the hollowness of his demagoguery was bound to come through. My hope is that it and the policies it was meant to shield won't come across as vile as those of his predecessor, which I'll admit they're not.
