sometime Democrat Jeff Greene is running here in Florida.

Driving Supreme Court justices off? How do we do that? Has that ever happened?

Better than McCain/Palin is not a ringing endorsement.

They can be impeached by the Senate. There's an unwritten rule that impeachment won't be used for political reasons (the guy's too left or too right), but it can be used if the justice is seen as too corrupt, or has violated judicial ethics. Unfortunately, the court with the fewest rules governing their behavior is the Supreme Court.

But a committed campaign, lots of investigative work to track down their corrupt connections and good, well-publicized scandal can - in theory at least - drive a crooked justice off the bench, either by impeachment or resignation.

Scalia and Thomas are the easiest targets, because they are arrogant and sloppy when it comes to accepting 'gifts' from people who have business before the court.

But of course, that would require a senate leader who had a moral bottom line and Harry Reid is so crooked he would make Richard Nixon blush.
