    It's an ideology, remember?  So a Ku Kluxer who outright supports white supremacy is the very definition of a racist.  My point about racist societies, however, is that individuals don't have to be racist for racism to continue unabated.

      I heard Melissa Harris Lacewell expound on this point on TV some time ago. I think it was on Bill Moyers.

      I support a trickle-up economic model. Put the unemployed to work and see what happens!
