but is it a story or is it something huff post made up just to get some traction.

    •  It's a story (4+ / 0-)

Dodd said she may not be confirmable.  SO begins the ritual Democratic kabuki of folding your cards rather than challenging the GOP to oppose an initiative that is best for the public.  "If only we knew we could get 60 votes we would have acted.  Alsa, we didn't know so we decided, again, not to try."

Noting wrong in voicing y\both your support as well as opposition to spineless Dems who use vote count uncertainty as a way to avoid advancing the public interest at the expense of their corporate sponsors.

      •  But it does'nt mean she is not eligible or wanted (0+ / 0-)

The way repubs are blocking everything is why he is saying she could not be confirmed. That is why they are happy that they found she does'nt have to be confirmed.  To be appointed to the job.

          enough already, laker

"'The question is, can we get someone who is confirmable? She may be, but that's not the only potential nominee — there are many fine nominees,' he said.

Dodd explained he wasn't aware of the source of the rumors about confirmability, though."

This is Chris Dodd providing the White House with a reason, a badly overused reason, to not nominate her.

And if she gets nominated, or recess appointed, I will write a diary apologizing to you all who disagree.  But it ain't going to happen, the kabuki is well underway.
