    •  Are those who voted in the Dem primary (0+ / 0-)

permitted to vote in the Republican runoff?

    •  HELL No (0+ / 0-)

She is not a moderate.  Look what she did to the voter rolls.  And new in Nov they will be scanning your driver's liscence before you can vote.  Tested in my majority AA county today.  Thanks to Handel.

      •  Like I said ..Barnes has to get in there ! (1+ / 0-)

They both are corrupt.  If she goes in,
we got all kinds of problems with voter and corporate and if he goes in we got Arizona.  What a nightmare !  I thought
Oxy would pull it off.  I really did.
These good ole boys don't like votin women in but they sure like Palin.
        Oh this is upsetting.

Lt me see..Do we want Katherine Harris or
        Haley Barbour?

Roy can win.  We aren't as stupid down here as they think we are : )
          we just have to GOTV!
Saw comment above about kids.  If they've been in public school they could qualify for state "opportunity" scholarship regardless of income.
Sent mine to private schools here -- you are right, most of the public school systems here are awful.

I agree, we can take back the Governor's Mansion, but personally it's a matter of probability. And it's much too early to judge that probability. I'm holding my fire until enough polls start coming out to give us some real trendlines. Once the prospect of Barnes vs. Handel or Barnes vs. Deal (whichever) becomes more concrete than it was before the primaries, I expect we'll get better data. But, yes, I think we can win in November.

And as to the schools...it depends on where you live, really. For instance, my family lives in north Dekalb, and I graduated from Lakeside HS. Let me tell you, I got a pretty good education from a bunch of pretty good (if not downright awesome) teachers.

yes I'm not ready to say it's done, but it's doable, which is not what the MSM would have us believe . . . and really looking forward to this run off

            •  I'm happy that Hank beat Vernon (0+ / 0-)

Cross Keys grad of '73 here and I've been familiar w/Mr. Jordan. Don't know why he bothered running. Too many folks know his rep. Cynthia might as well thrown her hat in too. Birds of a feather...

At least hardware store owners across the state have something to rejoice about w/ the resurgance of old marbles in his mouth King Roy. I suppose he's IS preferable to the disgraced Deal. I'm astonished, astonished I tell you that Deal was endorsed by another disgraced teaching toad from W.GA.

Disturbing that anyone here takes Bristol's mom seriously, as in prodding the ignorati to cast for Karen. I think Deal will tote his hayseeds in his old district with Bachmann/Handel carrying enough majority to dispatch him. Kinda like s**t vrs manure.

But over the long run, the tea party will prove to be the red badge of stupidity in public, just like the eternal McCain- Palin bumper stickers prevalent out here in Rethuglica.

I'm pretty sure the Hank Johnson and his excellent staff, (especially Scott in the Washington office) won't be replaced in the upcoming donnybrook this November.

    •  No Deal (0+ / 0-)

I voted against Nathan Deal today in the primary, and I will be happy to vote against him again in the runoff, although Handel is not exactly my idea of Governor material.

Obviously, I'm voting for Barnes in November.
