    His speech, put up by aaraujo, reflected MX's views at a time when he had no faith in party politics as an instrument of redemption for U.S. Blacks. His activities would likely have been discussed in a place like this, but his voice would have had little place in a community ostensibly dedicated to the election of better Democratic majorities. His goals went altogether elsewhere when he embraced World Islam, leading to the schism with the U.S. Nation of Islam and his assassination. As interesting a figure as he was, Malcolm X was no less a religious zealot in his own way than a Pat Robertson or Jerry Falwell or James Dobson.
