    I don't think the people who echo and follow can be let out of their share of the blame. The "framing" and the "message" are only effective if there are those who want to hear it in order to justify their continued hatred. We blame the messengers a lot. But we also need to recognize that unless there are people who relate to the framing, or need the message to rationalize their twisted world view, the message is just so much hot air. It's the people's minds that must be changed. Personally, I can only see that happening one at a time and over a very long period of time.
