    The domain registration system is far from accurate.  Even for people not trying to hide anything, you will find a lot of inaccurate/misleading/outdated or missing information.  It is not a crime to register a domain with false information.  As long as they can bill you, that's all the registrars care about.

    It is actually common practice to use a "pseudonym" as a contact.  They are normally considered "role" contacts, you register a generic "domain technical contact."  If the actual person filling the role for you changes, then there's no need to change registration.  Somebody else just gets the notices.
