  •  Nice work, LondonYank... (4.00)
I recall reading the 9/11 Commission Report, especially chapter one, where NORAD's testimony about the early events on 9/11 were reviewed.

It was striking- It seemed every major account NORAD tried to provide was shot down by the Commission as being "incorrect".  After reading the first chapter (documenting NORAD's response), I found myself thinking that NORAD was lying through their teeth, and the Commission was politely "calling them" on it.

So General Eberhart is rewarded (for incompetency) and promoted to commander of NORTHCOM.  And so begins the psy-ops.

    •  Thanks for the details (4.00)
on NORAD and the 9/11 Report.  Scary.

    •  It's the Payne Stewart analogy (none)
again.  If NORAD could be in the air so quickly for his tragic accident, why not for the attack on 9-11?

      •  Following Orders? (none)
My God, I know this is a scary thought.

Was NORAD following orders NOT to try to stop or limit the 9/11 hijackers?

        •  I don't know what else to think (none)
So I, like 51% of the country does on most issues, just act like that's not a possibility, that's just too gruesome to think about.
