    of the paper (LSD) or the dirt + non-THC parts of the plant in other drug sentencing cases?

    If so, then we don't have fair sentencing.

    A small step in the right direction, but a ways to go.

      as far as I know. the 1987 Drug Abuse Act added the text "a substance or mixture containing a detectable amount", so they still weigh the blotter paper, tic tacs, animal crackers, you name it, they'll weight it.

      1 gram triggers the 5 year mandatory minimum

      still I think people are better off being busted by the DEA instead of the local podunk sheriffs office. Some states still sentence LSD busts very harshly
