  •  Morning thanks tipped and rec'ed (14+ / 0-)

    Sounds like Mr. Woods belongs back in the early 19th century. No wonder they call themselves R they always want to go in reverse and are regressive.

    I guess he thinks that "we the people..." is only reserved for the rich, white, conservative, christian...oh well you get the point.

    Unfortunately he is confused. We suffer from the tyranny of "big business".

    Who's tired of suffering? Raise your hands and be counted.
    1...2...3...too many to count. I say we make govt work for us instead of for rotten, evil soulless, big business. The problem is no one listened to us but listened to the lying liars and their cheerleaders and continue to do so (MSM). Hard to stop when the have so many megaphones and shout so loudly.

      Voting is like driving. D is forward. R is backward.

      Though Dr. Woods would go back beyond the 19th century to the 18th. We tried his ideas with the Articles of Confederation, and it didn't work....

      Good morning! ::hugggggs::

      I was thinking of your diary on Drew Carey the other day when I was watching the tail end of "Ace of Cakes". That used to be a show I enjoyed watching with K1, but lately I've really struggled with it. The minimum price of a cake, the simplest cake they offer, costs $1,000. Of course, the cakes that are featured must be in the $10,000 range. It absolutely sickens me -- I know that people can spend their money however they want, but the excess of this indulgence... Ugh!

      Anyway, on this episode I saw one of the decorators crating a cake and it turns out he and Duff were flying this cake out to Drew Carey. Wow. Nice of Drew to advocate no government services for anyone while he drops thousands on flying two people and a cake cross country for his 5 yr old son's (?) nephew's (?) birthday party. Unfrickingbelievable! Again, he can spend his money any way he sees fit, but I have serious problems with people who have it all telling everyone else they can go without.

        that show or any other show with gratuitous spending. Hey awesome for them but creates too much resentment for me. His cakes look terrific, but again I am reminded of the haves and them telling the have nots to have less...if that makes sense.

        Another problem I have is the rich got richer, spent more money, made everything more expensive and make up for it by under paying and underemploying us.

        Everything is more expesnve except for us...because of this selling of free fixed market bs crap.
