    that 12 11 grown men with a big stick for a lever are more likely to have been responsible for a missing body of a man who'd been tortured to death than it is that said dead man got up, rolled away the boulder himself, and "ascended."

    Dead guys just aren't great at things like that.

      later on "his Father."  I find it fascinating how many Christians don't realize that the concept of the Trinity was never in the Bible, but invented by a bunch of Priests that got together hundreds of years after Jesus supposedly lived.  They tend to not believe you at first.

      ...and then there's also the very real possibility that the whole story is fiction. "Where's the body?" becomes much less of a mystery if it turns out there never was a Jesus in the first place.

        It's suprising the marked increase in hostility you get from Christians from suggesting the whole Jesus story is myth above and beyond simply implying theism is misguided.  To mix a metaphor:  they have most of their eggs in that nest and they guard it fiercely.
