Did the Feds lie about the sea floor leaks?

This guy looks like he did some serious investigation using mapping and NOAA data collected by the Thomas Jefferson. I'm still looking at it, but this is interesting.

So the Governments claim that the seep is 3 kilometers away and is coming from the Rigel well doesn’t add up because the Rigel well is only 2 kilometers away.

In fact the nearest leak on the sea floor southwest of the BP well that was detected before BP Capped the well is on top of the Biloxi dome. I have it marked as seep #3 and it is about 8.25 kilometers away.

    •  I'm not sure how much I trust this guy. (5+ / 0-)

If I'm remembering right, he went kinda nuts promoting the dougr theory of the whole seabed splitting open and pouring out oil with no one noticing.

And talk about the medium marring the message... that first map is unreadable.

I'll leave it to you to sift through... makes me dizzy.  I'm usually okay with that stuff, but this... too far beyond me.

there were in fact no seeps prior to the shut-in. That is just too coincidental. Gonna do some research of my own.

It may become moot if they kill this thing. Never the less a lie is a lie, and misleading the public shouldn't be acceptable.

And how do you find time to do all this extracurricular research when you've got a thesis to write?

You're a madman, ain'tcha?  That's it.  You never sleep.  You work like a demon.  Ye have no life...

Nah.  That doesn't fit.  Your sense of humor's too healthy for that.

Well, whatever it is you got, I want some.

Okay, please, King, tell me you only just found those.  That they weren't just lurking in your bookmarks for when you get lonely.

Thanx, now I gotta start over in the morning.

                      Good night dear Yasuragi.

P.S. Today after work, I decided to hike a bit on my way home. One of the advantages of living in the Sierra. I found this spot I had never been to that overlooked the entire Mokulumne (means people of the Moke) River drainage. It was just a peaceful moment when I stopped. I stood there thinking of the gulf, the clear cuts near me, all of it, and solemnly apologized to mother nature for our carelessness.

I was rewarded with the cry of a Red Tailed hawk above me. Almost brought me to tears, but I was at peace for that moment.

I wish you that same peace.

                      Till morning......

hawk story tonight.  They're beautiful, the red-tails.  I love catching sight of them in the woods here.

I'm glad he brought you peace, Kairos.  And thank you so much for your wish.  It's what I need.

Have a lovely night, filled with lovely dreams.  Catch you tomorrow.
