    They're saying:

    @NYTimes is wrong. We've not had any convos with VZN about paying for carriage of our traffic. We remain committed to an open internet.

    So if this is happening, they're apparently not paying for it.

        Verizon sells phones that have Google applications and content built into them.

        But I agree that a 140-character denial falls short. They need to say they are not cutting any content priority deals with Verizon, which is pretty close to that they have said already.
