    AA's still face discrimination today. The fact that President Obama had a black father didn't change this fact even though the RW points to this as evidence that we are a "post-racial" society.

    Unfortunately, some people will never accept gays just as some people still refuse to accept Blacks, Jews, Muslims, Hispanics, Asians, etc. That won't change.

    Assuming Judge Walker's rulings are upheld by SCOTUS, this is just one step towards the path to equality for our LGBT family members, friends, co-workers, etc. More than 50 years after Brown V. Board of Ed, segregation is still being practiced in Mississippi.
