    do some math. Factor in purchasing power and cost of living.

    $20 mill in Sri Lanka is enough to do some serious damge to US jobs.

    "Only 3000?" you say?

    Let's take a look at that then.

    Say 1 of those 3000 jobs that gets sucked out of the US is yours (don't give me platitudes - it happens. I work in exactly this software-space and it happens).

    Since when do we take what business tell us at face-value?

    Because $1 in Sri Lanka goes so much further, they will be able to stretch it much further. And once the infrastructure is in place, the trainees will become trainers, and the multiplier will kick in.

    It's not as simple as you think it is.

      Those jobs were already outsourced to India and China and they are never coming back. ?Because Sri Lanka is an emerging market, the jobs will move from either India or China and you know it.
