My home county, Shiawassee, even received a plug. Carol Spaniola is probably a niece or daughter of a well-liked Spanish teacher at Corunna High School.  He had retired right before I had hit high school.

I have the feeling she went to high school with my oldest brother.  The name's ringing a bell and the former Spanish teacher was very active in politics. I've mostly lived away from my hometown area since 1973, a 10 year hiatus in mostly the Detroit burbs before moving to Florida.  Family's always saying to me...you remember so and so, surely...ummm, no I don't!
