I guess this is what it'll look like from now on.

I just engaged in my last debate with the cult of Democrats.  Or so I fondly hope.  I ended my last despairing plea with something like, "but it doesn't matter, because I'm done with the Dem Party."  What a relief.  Reading this diary made me realize that from now on, I'll simply refuse to discuss Dem Party politics.  I'll stick to issues.  Duh.

Several people have tried to tell me that over the years.  I think I finally get it.

Do you agree, there was official indifference depicted in the film, perhaps even official passive hostility?  Do you remember well enough to give your reading on those episodes?

Still listening.  This sort of first-hand report is priceless for understanding--better than most statistics.

when it first came out (3 years ago..?)
so, my memory fails me a bit.

but the indifference was there, most definitely.

I'm sure I'll want to watch it again now that we are discussing it
        ...stay tuned...

anyway, I know where to find you :)

than an insult to Dems.  I just realized how that would be taken in this wartime atmosphere, although from now on i'm staying in the DMZ, which is here.  i didn't mean to bring that in.  Really, it just struck me as funny, not serious.
