    If there are some of the long-term challenges that we need to address, let's do it in the context of having fiscal responsibility, and then let's put together a bipartisan commission and look at how we're going to deal with these long-term challenges.

    Based on your above comment, we can safely assume Hillary was for a commission before she was against it.

    It's but one example of Democratic double talk on Social Security, which should have everyone concerned with where they'll come down.

      What concerned me was Obama's insistence that there would be an actuarial shortfall and his emphasis of the need to face the problem of a shortfall.  It was Clinton who said we shouldn't adopt Republican framing of the issue.  I didn't vote for either of them in the primary.
