    Either you make money selling fuel or you sequester.  You don't do both.

    You could sequester some and use some for fuel.  Oil is so desirable as fuel that at some point in the future it may be worth the effort to make small amounts of oil rather than drilling for it or mining oil sands.

      sequestration.  A given atom of carbon is only available for either fuel OR sequestration.
