    91% of Americans believe in God.
    85% consider themselves very or fairly religious.
    75% consider prayer an important part of daily life.

    Being an atheist isn't like being gay or a racial or religious minority.  It's a conscious statement that you've decided that the vast majority of Americans are living in a fantasyland. That doesn't generally work as a campaign strategy, even if it is true.

    I completely agree with your arguments, I'm agnostic at best, but I'm realistic.

    It's called the Dodd-Frank bill. What else do you need to know?
