    ..that the government and private sector are co-dependent.. that's not in dispute..

    DATA:  $3,800,000,000,000  IS  the latest budget, and there ARE 100,000,000 households.. and the average household income  IS  ~$60,000

    3,800,000,000,000 / 100,000,000 = 38,000

    THAT is math.

    Are you arguing that $38,000 per $60,000 household isn't enough ?  And remember,, that's ONLY for the feds.. there are state/county/city  governments being funded too.

      silly math tricks are not how taxes are collected nor how budgets are paid for nor how the economy works.   Cutting government spending in deep recessions will cause a depression.  Government spending is the only thing that will jump start the economy, without it there will be no economy at all.  You act as if each household is going to be stuck with the bill and that is childishly naive.
