starts after Labor Day. Boxer said that they are going all in after Labor Day.

    •  Good strategy, and Boxer is a good campaigner. (5+ / 0-)

Palin would make it to the white house after the RNC and mccain getting a big bump. But then everything turned in our favor.

        •  True. But people should look at NJ. (2+ / 0-)

Polls kept showing Christie (RIght Wing Nut) ahead all Summer last year. (GOV RACE.)
All year as a matter of fact.
I laughed and pooh poohed and said oh wait till after labor day.
Then I canvassed and got worried.
          Felt bad vibes.
          Then Christie and Corzine even.
But still picking up bad vibes.
          Then Corzine  ahead a bit.
          Then they even.
Then Christie pulls it back out and wins.
          In BLUE JERSEY.
          Ugh. UGH!
          Nothing to do with Obama.
          It was al local grouches.
Things were NOT good in NJ taxes wise etc.
          Everyone blamed Corzine (incumbent).
Got people were so pissed  about all things going on in NJ.
(taxes, taxes, more taxes. we pay the highest property taxes in the land. but it was not Corzine's fault.)
Which is why I think Boxer is in for a fight - but am blown away that the CA governorship is in the R's favor too.

          •  I wonder whether CA voters have figured out (3+ / 0-)

that Fiorina wants to cut the wages of American workers to be more in line with developing countries.  If she's elected to the senate she'll take every opportunity to slap a lid on wages - from voting against organizaed labor every chance she gets to voting to keep government contracts from being awarded to unionized companies.

Don't the people of CA listen to what this woman is saying, or do they really agree with her that American workers "make too much money"?  Or do they just hold an irrational hatred of Barbara Boxer?
