  •  You've mentioned this a few times. (0+ / 0-)

I have seen nothing to suggest they are engaged in drug running, growing, or manufacturing.  No arrests of parishoners for drug use, etc.  If you have something, let me know where to look and I'll be happy to chase it down.

    •  I used to work (0+ / 0-)

      in chiefland.  For the FDLE.
That whole area has been known for corruption including but not limited to drug running.  I have no concrete proof but I sure know how bad it was in the early 90's and late 80's.  Check these two links and this area is a very poor area of Florida.

Check the links and go from there.http://news.google.com/...

There is a lot of baggage in that area of the Gulf regarding import and export and Columbians.  In the 70's Steinhatchee was even written up in the Seattle Times.
During the 80's it was about Noreaga (or however you spell it.  How do I know this, because I was the only one not called before the Grand Jury.  Some really heavy stuff went down.  Fortunately I was too new and too poor to be involved.

      •  No doubt there's a lot of illegal activity there. (1+ / 0-)

But since I am making some very inflammatory accusations about this scumbag, I want to be sure that I can back them up.  Is he capable of what you are suggesting?  I wouldn't be surprised.  But just because we know he is lower than a snake's belly, doesn't mean he is involved in that particular criminal activity.  He's a con man with a game he has been successfully running for over 30 years in various locations.  I don't think it likely he would branch out into something as high risk as drugs.  Con men tend to be risk adverse.

However, if you find something concretely linking him or a church member to drugs, I would be happy to follow up on it.
