    shops are full of goods with no one to buy them,

    Yeah, we're in a deep, nasty recession. But I'm sick of people blowing everything out of proportion. U.S. retail sales are running about $360 billion a month, which is just 4% less than the peak and still equal to what it was in January 2007. And about $60 billion a month MORE than it was in 2003! It is just not the case that "no one" is buying goods.

    I'm in the I-fucking-love-this-guy wing of the Democratic Party!
