  •  Here, sort of. I will have to repost the diary (6+ / 0-)

    as comment period has closed.

This didn't take off when I originally posted it so I haven't gone back.  I will do so.

Posting it here might work, though.

Most riding buses won't be sleeping over, though.

Look for this diary to be reposted:

    http://www.dailykos.com/...

    Or, better yet, post one.

Maybe you could title it:  I Have a Place to Stay!

And then, in the comments section post one that says

    Need a Place to Stay

    and

    Have a Place to Stay

and ask the community to post under either of these main comments.

    •  Okay cool idea. (3+ / 0-)

I'll do that later tonight, I'm still at work and there's a blog-detecting boss on the floor.

      •  Since you're a local... (4+ / 0-)

would you be willing to help out with a welcome to DC diary? WoE is working up a DC guide diary and I thought maybe a few of us who are locals could offer tips and answer questions to folks coming into town. Any chance we could talk you into helping out? Nothing major, just check through the diary's comments for any questions you can/want to answer.

          around DC.

And, in case you need some motivation.  Here is a face of those who hope to govern us:

          Tea Bag Woman

I know, we are all people but, what the heck are they talking about:  Don't tread on me?

I wonder which Wall Street Ad agency came up with this tea bag prop?

          What are our props?

          Here's my idea.  For free:

I need a couple of days to prepare that, is that okay?  I work two jobs right now. :-)

I can only write knowledgeably about neighborhoods like Logan Circle, near Dupont Circle, which has very easy direct connections to the March itself.  For me, downtown is "meh" which is not to disparage it, but for me columbia Heights, Logan Circle, are my stomping grounds.

I am involved in a yoga community and I'm thinking about offering a community class. When do you think that would be good (what time/day to not interfere with march activities?)

And I can host a dinner at a vegan restaurant called Cafe Green where I'm a share holder.

          •  WoE was thinking Thursday for a diary (1+ / 0-)

I suggested doing one this Thursday, and maybe the next two Thursdays as well, so we can get people as they finalize their plans. Would that work? I can't really chime in until after work (or super early before work) either, so I'm thinking an evening-ish diary would be good.

And I think writing about Columbia Heights/Logan Circle would be great! The march lasts until 4, and I'd love to see people take advantage of a Saturday (and/or Sunday!) in DC and see some of the city other than the Mall. And on that note, what about a early Saturday morning yoga class to get people warmed up for the march? March activities start at 11am. Or a Sunday class?

You know, several people mentioned a Kossack meetup, but I don't think anyone has planned one. Dinner at Cafe Green could be fun!
