  •  When I watched Krugman and Reich on (0+ / 0-)

This Week I felt Krugman was not as concerned about income inequality as Reich was. To put it another way Krugman was much more concerned with unemployment.

Thanks for the pointer. I read a lot of Krugman and Reich as well as Stiglitz and James Galbraith. I missed Krugman's points on income inequality.

Krugman has definitely proposed much larger stimulus packages than the Obama administration has. Though, again to my knowledge he has not proposed anything as large as five to six trillion dollars. I did get the WW2 figure of thirty trillion of today's dollars from Krugman.

    Thanks.

I do like that, as a fact on its own. But he's not there to give a legitimately liberal point of view. There is none on the Sunday shows. Rachel on MTP is the closest you'll get. But Krugman is a prop. I've never seen him given control of the conversation as George Will so consistently is.

Maybe I'm stating something obvious here, but you'd do better looking under your couch cushions if you're watching the Sunday shows for substantive analysis of anything.

    •  That's true- Krugman doesn't care about that (1+ / 0-)

      Neither do I.
