FL-SEN, I think the key there for Crist will be whether enough Meek supporters switch over and support him in the final weeks of the campaign, if Meek is still in third place.

    •  I think Crist is running a terrible campaign. (5+ / 0-)

As he's let Rubio lock up 80% of the GOP vote.  However if Meek is distant third nearer to November I think somebody will have to call him off.  I don't know who could possibly do that though, maybe Clinton.

Sen. Reid on GOP threat of filibuster on tax cuts - "by Republican logic, until rich CEOs get what they want, middle-class families can't get what they need."

    •  The DSCC is running ads for Meek now... (0+ / 0-)

...as they should. There's no reason for Crist to get any Dem votes or support during this election, and I find it appalling to see some of the same Dems who trash "Naderites" turn on a dime to try to make the case for Dems voting Crist.

if it's a week or two before the election, and Meek is still a distant third, I think it will be essentially a race between Rubio and Crist, and of those two, it wouldnt surprise me if some Meek supporters, chose Crist.
