    I used to go to Helena once a month. It was a true pain in the ass. I used to fly Western Airlines (which was bought by Delta in '87), via Salt Lake. Butte has got to be even more remote. I'm sure that it would take a full day to get from Connecticut, where GE is based, to Butte when flying commercial.

    I don't begrudge Immelt the private plane when going to places like that. He is a busy guy whose time is far more valuable than mine will ever be.

    The second plane, though, does seem excessive.
