    This does not reflect the real Wisconsin electorate. our 18 and 19 year olds always vote at the highest rate in the country, thanks to at the polls registration.

      actually, but Wisconsin is right behind -- and was so well before the 2008 election.  You and I know the impact of great GOTV efforts not only in the big cities but in campus towns all across the state.  So I agree, this was a serious problem caused by the pollsters.  I'd cut their alleged gap in half, at least -- and it will dwindle more with the debates.

        My understanding is it depends just where you carve the age groupings, and whether Feingold or Franken is up that year.

          I will go see my bookmarked reports on that in past -- I enjoy posting them for my students as elections near to tell 'em it's a competition to finally beat those Vikings fans at voter turnout, anyway.

          That will work well in November, football season -- when the anti-Favre fervor ought to fuel this contest.
