  •  Watching this unfold today on CSpan... (14+ / 0-) longstanding fury at Republicans and all they stand for turned another corner. Their despicable hypocrisy makes all of them unfit for public office at the lowest level, much less its highest legislative body.

Kudos to you for urging everyone to back challengers to three of these  GOP incumbents. Of the three, Elaine Marshall no doubt has the best chance. But the fight should be carried to them all.

winnable races, if they just had some money. Burr is a nothing and the Dems have really done great work GOTV in Iowa. The # of absentee/early ballot requests in Iowa are 5 to 1 in favor of the Democrat. That's how we beat them in 2008.

As for the Republicans, they have just abandoned any pretense of governing. This has become just a political game to them. And there is no downside to this behavior. It's incredibly frustrating to watch.

Sen. Richard Burr becomes the new ranking Republican, as Republicans play hardball with Sen. Lisa Murkowski.

If you care about the environment, this is huge.
