I worry that it's not healthy because doomsters tend to drag a lot of people down with them and become epidemic de-motivators.

I think the PPP polls on WV and WI plus DADT repeal failing depressed a lot of people. I would have been more upset had it not been for the recent release of some good house polls for us + great CA PPP polls.

So, how is it going in Ohio? Any chance we hold our House seats?

And my gawd, I'm the gay one here... Shouldn't I have the right to get all "drama queen" on your asses??!! ;-)

Yes, I was PISSED to see the DADT repeal stall. It's frustrating, dammit! However, this is NOT reason for us to just take all our marbles and run home crying to mama.

And neither are a couple weird PPP polls. No one is perfect. And both these polls show worse results than Razzy... That alone should set off alarms! Their Wisconsin poll had strange internals (like only 7% of voters being under 30??!!), and West Virginia may have been pushed with all the national/Obama questions. PPP is certainly a great pollster, but they're not perfect. No one is. And even the best pollsters sometimes miss the mark.
