    Reading this, you're acting like big business simply chooses candidates.  You're completely ignoring the fact that people get elected and each individual person came out to vote for that person on their own free will.

    So while there may be manipulation in elections, I think saying big business can pick and choose is a wrong way to color it.  We need to realize that the voters have culpability in the stupid leaders they elect and then rail against.

      The game is rigged against the People and Democrats. The rightwing's PR machine - the media, especially TV and radio - manipulates the elections and fails to inform, even misinforming and disinforming sometimes, thus ensuring an ignorant, complacent or confused electorate. It is very hard to counter considering our horrible campaign finance laws and media deregulation. IMO.
