It looks like Lazio had a real job offer for a his declining --- not just a run --- but a nomination.

Obviously the RWNM will be silent... and unfortunatley.... so will our Dems.

I was going to post the same thing.  So, to get Sestak off of the primary ballot by offering him a job is tantamount to an impeachable act, yet to actually offer a judgeship nomination to a candidate in order to get him to leave a state election, increasing the odds of another candidate, sure smacks of bribery to me.

Recall that the "job" being offered to Sestak was a position on a non-paying advisory committee which had little power anyway.  Sestak wasn't being offered much of anything beyond a little gilding on the lily.

Lazio is being offered a real job, something with compensation attached to it.  If that's not a bribe, I don't know what is these days.

What's really pathetic is that no one in the press seems to have picked up on the very real similarities between Sestak's case and Lazio's.  Palin's infamous "lame stream" media is fumbling this ball totally.  Perhaps Cuomo's should go after Lazio (who is now a non-candidate) for corruption, just to drive home his commitment to the law and lay down some markers for Love Child Paladino.
