  •  Why can't the country get that (3+ / 0-)

although the Democrats are no prize, from nearly everyone's perspective, the Republicans are worse? Why does this have to fought repeatedly?

strong leaders. Even if theyre full of shit. NONE of us lives in reality. Every human ever born surrounds themselves with comfortable fictions.. including you and I.

People want someone who confronts problems boldly and head on. Theyre willing to forgive a failure to solve them. Theyre willing to forgive mistakes. Theyre NOT willing to forgive cowardice. Which is why americans are on board with the left on issues by a supermajority, but keep getting sick of Democrats(the closest representative we have of the left) cowardice. Including obamas.

And Jesus said to his disciples, "Truly, I say to you, it will be hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.

(or didn't) do what they did (or didn't) do because they work for the wealthy. Sorry, but the Democratic Party is corrupt. They promise us rubes the moon, as Obama did in 2008. Then they screw us. They do it every election cycle. Cowardice is an excuse.

is only loosely related to the perception.  People look for someone to fix the problem.  Democrats are obviously unable and unwilling.  Republicans are willing.  Their ideas won't work, but that's a mere detail.

The question is not whether the chickens needed replacing, the question is whether the fox should have been guarding them in the first place.
