    The money he and his now wealthy employees have extracted from the economy has created how much overall wealth?  Not much.  This is a success story we should be be, at best, indifferent about.

      Wonder if this explains our increasing propensity for "jobless recoveries" ?

      Is the post-industrial economy inherently jobless or, at least, more jobless than an industrial economy?

      Tsongas called it so long ago, and Obama seems to understand it too: You need a strong industrial base to improve the country's standard of living.

      The last time we broke a president, we ended up with Reagan.

        greater worker productivity = less work to do for the same level of production.

        Agriculture no longer employs 90% of the population.

        Last time this happened, we solved it by banning child labor and creating something called the "weekend."

      ..."beneficiaries" to wealth than for Goldman Sachs or any other Wall Street firm. It doesn't take many greedy bastards to create "exotic financial instruments" that end up taking away the equity of millions of homes or the employment of millions more it seems.
